IT Power (India) draws its strength from the global legacy of the ITP Energised Group, an internationally recognised engineering consultancy network founded in the UK in 1981. The name “IT Power” originates from the concept of “Intermediate Technology”, a term popularised by economist E.F. Schumacher, representing the idea of practical, scalable, environmentally responsible, and locally appropriate solutions.
Established in 1997 as part of the group, IT Power Private Limited has carried this philosophy forward while building its own strong identity in the renewable energy and sustainable development sector. Today, IT Power continues to build on its global roots while delivering solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the clean energy transition.
