The overall objective of the assignment was to prepare annual energy savings plan for commercial buildings sector and industrial sector (manufacturing industries like iron and steel, food, textile, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, auto ancillary, light engineering aluminium and brass industry) ITPI carried out activities that included. capacity building of some selected industries and officials of EESL and Energy Development Agency, meeting and discussion with officials of SDA, industries, and DISCOMS, policy makers, analysis and collection of information, analysis of collected information and preparation of report which would have recommendations to overcome the identified barriers, stakeholder consultation and submission of final action plan.
