Shruti is a seasoned renewable energy professional with a diverse background, bringing a robust foundation and specialized expertise to IT Power Pvt Ltd India. She possesses a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a strong grasp of financial analysis. Her subsequent PGDM in Energy Management has equipped her with a deep understanding of the electricity market, including formulating, analyzing, and implementing energy laws, policies, and regulations within the Indian regulatory landscape. Her practical experience includes a marketing internship at NTPC’s consultancy wing, where she contributed to the execution of two significant projects: a floating solar PV project on Umiam Lake, Shillong, and owner’s engineering services for a 660 MW thermal power plant at Amarkantak. Her role encompassed pre and post-award discussions for both initiatives. Shruti has further enhanced her knowledge through a Regulatory Certification Program in Renewable Energy: Economics, Policy, and Regulations from CER, IIT Kanpur. This program deepened her understanding of renewable energy resources, tariff determination, RPO, FIT, REC mechanisms, competitive bidding, grid integration challenges, and emerging trends such as energy storage and flexibility. At IT Power Pvt Ltd India, Shruti functions as a Junior Consultant, supporting business development and project delivery. Her responsibilities encompass techno-economic analysis of renewable energy projects, electrical networks, energy storage systems, and electric vehicles. Additionally, she conducts financial modelling for feasibility studies and stays abreast of the evolving policy and regulatory framework for the energy transition, with a particular focus on renewable energy, power systems, energy storage, and electric mobility.
